Academic mobility -

is a shift for the certain period (up to 2 years) of a student or university personnel to an other academic or research institution (native or foreign) for the aims of studying, teaching, research or professional advance. After the period spent abroad a student, a researcher or an administrator returns back to his educational institution.

External (international) academic mobility


is a study period of students and postgraduates in foreign universities and work of teachers and other personnel in foreign educational and research institutions.

Internal (national) academic mobility


is a study period of students and postgraduates and teachers or researchers work in the leading Russian universities and research centers.
